Students from any universities/colleges can come and buy tickets. To buy tickets online you will need use an academic email (one that ends in ac.uk). You buy up to 4 tickets per student card. Student ID includes university/college ID cards i.e. library cards, NUS & ISIC cards.
If you want to bring non-student friends that is not a problem as long as the majority of the group are students.

Not got time to get ticket or out of Manchester? You can reserve your ticket for up to a week.
